
Here, type “ipconfig” and press “Enter” again. The Command Prompt application will appear on the screen. Open the “Run” application and in the search tab, type “cmd” and press Enter. Although the default IP is 192.168.10.1, you can check for the same using the Command Prompt application.
Make sure you are using the correct IP address to access the Comfast login page. Since the login page is based on the local device based server, you’ll need to connect to the device in order to connect to the same. Make sure that you are connected to the range extender network through the computer/smartphone you are trying to use the login page on. Also make sure that they are intact and secured in their places. Next on, you can check the internet cable connections between the devices. As the first step, always try restarting the extender to see if that helps resolve the issue. You’ll now see the home page of the Comfast setup page on your device screen. In the username and the password fields, type “admin”.
Also, check if you are using the correct web address. If you are not able to access the Comfast Extender login or 192.168.10.1 page, you can check for the ethernet cable connections, if they are intact. Press Enter and you’ll be redirected to the comfast extender login page. Now, open the web browser on your device and in the address bar, type 192.168.10.1.
When you see it, click on it and enter the passphrase, which you will also find on the same product label. You can identify the Comfast device SSID by its name on the product label. And, you won’t be able to connect to the internet unless you configure your range extender. Understand that this is a local device network. If you prefer using a wireless connection, you will need to go to the Wireless Networks section on your smartphone or laptop, and then connect to the range extender network If you are using a PC, you can connect to the range extender using an Ethernet cable. When you are done with the setup, it is time to connect your range extender to either a computer system or a wireless device like a smartphone.
